Moon Trees: Past, Present & Future

Moon Trees: Past, Present & Future is a program length documentary film chronicling Moon Trees, a long-running life science experiment that began when Apollo 14 astronaut Stuart Roosa carried tree seeds in orbit around the moon. Upon returning to earth, these seeds were germinated and grown into trees that today serve to connect the public with the broader NASA mission.

Starring Rosemary Roosa and produced with the participation of NASA's Artemis Program, The USDA Forest Service, The National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and NASA's GLOBE Program, this project took our team to locations in six states including the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL, the New Mexico State Capitol in Santa Fe, NM, and the USDA Forest Service's nursery facility in Couer D'Alene, ID.
